eEMU
Epic Online Services emulator for selected identity, lobby, storage, and P2P calls, with an sEMU bridge.
overview
eEMU implements selected EOS exports for identity, Connect, lobbies, presence, and player-data storage. Its source includes local P2P and relay configuration plus an ABI bridge to sEMU peer transport. Tests cover lobby search and cleanup, peer identity, minimal configuration, and a two-process bridge transport. Those checks do not establish retail-game compatibility.
in the repository
- Selected EOS identity, Connect, lobby, presence, and storage calls
- Lobby search, membership, and cleanup
- P2P, relay, LAN, and ICE/STUN settings
- Generated INI configuration with legacy JSON fallback
- sEMU ABI bridge for peer and network-policy calls
current work
The bridge copies the required sEMU exports while holding its state mutex, then calls them after releasing it. Tests exercise lobby cleanup, identity selection, minimal configuration, and brokered bridge transport. End-to-end game behavior remains unverified.
change history
- · eEMU · fixBridge lock released before sEMU calls
REF 2e6e469The bridge copies the required sEMU export under its state mutex, then invokes it after releasing the lock. Real-game behavior remains unverified.
- · eEMU · archiveOverlay path review
REF f87364eThe current eEMU path no longer ships the graphical overlay component. Configuration and networking tests remain separate from that removed surface.
- · eEMU · developmentMinimal configuration persistence
REF d6baa5fThe minimal configuration generator writes the canonical game, player, and crack sections and keeps generated identifiers stable across repeated runs.
- · eEMU · fixLobby cleanup replay
REF fc02f80Lobby cleanup now preserves the active state after local departure and DestroyLobby sequences. The replay test covers authorization, repeated cleanup, and the normal leave path.
- · eEMU · developmentNetwork and bridge snapshot
REF 6212f79The current tree covers relay framing, peer-disconnect grace, LAN broadcast parsing, ICE/STUN controls, and the ABI bridge to sEMU. These are source-level changes; real-game compatibility remains unverified.
